Terms of Use
Last updated October 2026.
These terms apply to hagamos.app and to the Hagamos service, including our early-access preview. By using the site or the service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use them.
What Hagamos is
Hagamos helps interior designers and their clients find local makers (upholsterers, woodworkers, stone masons, artists and other trades) and manage custom work with them: sending a request, collecting quotes, accepting one, paying a deposit and keeping the job's messages and photos in one place.
Hagamos is a platform, not a party to the work. The agreement for any job is between the person or studio that accepts a quote and the maker who gave it. Makers are independent businesses, not our employees or agents. We don't build, inspect or guarantee the work, and we aren't responsible for a maker's or a studio's performance, licensing, insurance, taxes or compliance with the law.
Early-access preview
Hagamos is in an early, invitation-only preview. Features may change, pause or be removed, and the service may have errors or downtime. Requesting early access doesn't guarantee an invitation.
Your account
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. Give us accurate information and keep it current. We sign you in with links sent to your email or phone, so keep those accounts secure and tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has access. You're responsible for activity under your account.
Requests, quotes and jobs
A quote is the maker's offer and states its price, what's included and excluded, lead time and how long it's valid. Accepting a quote through Hagamos forms an agreement between the accepting party and the maker on those terms. Changes to price, scope or dates only count when they're agreed through Hagamos, not in a free-text message. Disputes about the work are between the parties to the job; we may help with records from the job, but we don't decide disputes.
Payments and fees
Payments are processed by Stripe and are subject to Stripe's terms. We never see or store full card or bank account numbers. During the preview, deposits are paid to the design studio's own Stripe account, and the studio pays its makers directly. Each job carries a Hagamos platform fee, which is shown before a quote is accepted. How fees are charged and how payments flow may change as the service develops; we'll tell you before any change applies to you.
Hagamos will never ask you for a bank account number, password or sign-in code by email, text or WhatsApp.
Messages we send you
By giving us your email address or mobile number, you agree that we may contact you about requests, quotes, jobs and your account by email, WhatsApp or text. Message and data rates may apply. You can choose which channels you use in your settings, or reply STOP to a text or WhatsApp message to stop receiving them on that channel. Some account and payment messages are required for the service to work.
Your content
You keep ownership of the photos, drawings, descriptions and messages you add. You give us permission to store, display and share them with the people involved in a request or job so the service works, and, for portfolio photos you mark public, to show them on Hagamos. Only add content you have the right to share, and don't add other people's personal information beyond what a job needs.
Acceptable use
Don't use Hagamos to break the law, mislead people, harass anyone, send spam, or collect other users' information. Don't try to get around fees by using Hagamos to find work and then moving a job off the platform to avoid them, interfere with the service, or access accounts or data that aren't yours. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Privacy
Our privacy policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we don't promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Hagamos isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, and isn't liable for the work, conduct or payments of makers, studios or clients. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the fees you paid to Hagamos in the 12 months before the claim or $100.
Indemnity
If someone brings a claim against Hagamos because of your work, your content or your breach of these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim, to the extent the law allows.
Ending your use
You can stop using Hagamos and ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or if we discontinue the service. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as payments owed, content permissions, disclaimers and limits of liability) continue after your account closes.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for material changes we'll tell you by email or in the app before they apply. Continuing to use Hagamos after that means you accept the updated terms.
Law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Bexar County, Texas, and you and we consent to those courts.
